Groupe SEB has appointed EPE to be the UK distributor for its kitchen electrical products and exclusive distribution for Jamie Oliver and Tefal cookware.
Tefal owes its origins to Frenchman Marc Grégoire and his wife Colette. He was a keen fisherman, who wanted to make the reel on his rod run more smoothly. In the 1950s, he experimented to see if a non-stick coating might provide the answer. It did!

As the Cuisinart profile continues to grow in the UK, award-winning distributor EPE has been appointed to distribute the full range of kitchen electrical products to the trade, placing the UK’s most premium kitchen electrical brand with the countries leading electrical supplier.
In the 1970s, Carl Sontheimer, an American engineer, who lived in France, watched a food preparation machine being demonstrated in a restaurant. He was so impressed by the machine, he believed he could adapt the technology to become a useful appliance for households.

Demonstrators from Crockpot, Cuisinart & Lavazza attended the day to illustrate some of our best selling products unique features and passed on adept and masterful knowledge of the products that were demonstrated. Events like this run by EPE give our customers the ability to in turn pass on this knowledge to customers and strengthen their knowledge of our premium brand products and EPE exclusive lines.

EPE’s Sales Director Ray Swarbrick, National Sales & Development Manager David Caswell and head of Design & Marketing Jay Faulkner were invited to post race celebrations at Silverstone.
With an estimated 305,000-strong crowd over three days, a guest apperance by the UK’s very own Red Arrows, live concerts and Formula One racing the event truely was a success. Silverstone Managing Director Richard Phillips has hailed this year’s event as one of best British Grand Prix in years! EPE customers and representatives enjoyed V.I.P access to the Formula One Paddock Club and access to the mechanics workshop to see hands on Philips Formula One engineers prep the cars. Jay Faulkner said “The event was enjoyed by all who attended this social and relaxed event, EPE extends our thanks to Gaggia! The Buyers Choice a hard hitting monthly publication from EPE has proven itself once again strengthening our partnership with premium brand manufacturer Philips.

As of June 1st 2010 the entire Russell Hobbs Cookware range is exclusively availiable from EPE to the independent market. This range includes pan sets, single pans, scales, bakeware and pressure cookers. This covers Russell Hobbs Cookware, Russell Hobbs Marco Pierre White Range and Tower Cookware brands. This agreement comes into effect as of the 1st June 2010. The Master Cook Shop Event took place on the 22nd April 2010. Held in EPE’s brand new product demostration showroom with live cooking station, celebrity chef Marco Pierre White attended the opening and took part in the ceremonial ribbon cutting before mingling with guests and browsing the state of the art showroom. Aprils event was the showrooms grand opening and simultaneously celebrated the release of The Master Cook Shop Catalogue Edition 3.
