Raising funds for Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day!
On Friday 14th December EPE took part in World Christmas Jumper Day to raise money for Save the Children.
To take part each member off staff donated £1 to show off their festive Jumpers.
All funds raised were kindly donated to Save the Children to help provide vitally needed food, education and healthcare to some of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable children.

The two graduates Gracie Heath & Billie Gibson, will assist in the key account management, which will offer extra support and allow the continuous growth in sales for EPE.

Varta Christmas Campaign 2018
VARTA Consumer Batteries has invested in a Christmas TV advertising campaign aiming to show the importance of batteries and how they power special moments at Christmas.
The advert is being shown on a number of channels such as ITV, SKY and Channel Four during prime time slots estimated to reach an audience of more than 18 million consumers during this year’s peak selling period.
Varta’s investment in the TV campaign follows a major brand refresh, which includes the launch of new packaging and a renamed product range. As part of the Varta relaunch, the manufacturer revealed the new brand slogan ‘In Service for You’

EPE International Ltd appoints Non-Executive Director
Bradford based EPE International, the leading B2B distributor of branded Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) are pleased to announce that Paul Beaumont has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the business with effect from 20th November 2018. EPE provides a complete service to cook shop, electrical retail and department store customers and was named one of the 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2018 by the London Stock Exchange.
Beaumont, a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience of start-ups and hyper growth predominantly in the global technology sector, semi-retired some 5 years ago and now works with high growth potential businesses on behalf of Leeds Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and is also a Non-Exec Director of Usha Martin Technologies, the arm of the Usha Martin Group, a business conglomerate and distribution Specialist.
Beaumont commented “I am very pleased and honoured to be invited to join the extremely talented Board of EPE International. EPE’s Contribution to the Sikh Toy Appeal
The Sikh Toy Appeal focuses on providing toys, clothing and gifts to children and families in difficult circumstances nationwide. In 2017 they raised and exceeded their 2016 record and handed out 9,000 gifts to those children less fortunate and disadvantaged than ourselves. The charity is run by our very own customer and Sikh Toy Appeal Co-Ordinater, Manny Johal.
EPE were delighted to attend the Sikh Toy Appeal annual event at their Wolverhampton offices, donating approximately 40 gifts to help make Christmas a little more special for those children who truly need it the most.

EPE are raising money for Children in Need!
Children in Need is an annual event dedicated to raising vital funds for the kids who need it most.
Too raise money for this worthy cause EPE organised a dress down Friday throughout the company where employees swapped their work gear in favour of whatever they would like to wear for the day. With a contribution of £1 each to take part all money raised will be matched by the company to support disadvantaged children and young people all across the UK.
EPE also showed of their fabulous cake making skills with a charity bun sale where buns and cakes were sold at 50p each!

Here’s how to create your very own Pumpkin Spiced Latte!
Spice up your Autumn with the sweet and seasonal Pumpkin Spiced Latte created with Delonghi.
INGREDIENTS
40ml Spiced Rum
40ml Italian Espresso
25ml Pumpkin Syrup (Add pumpkin puree to sugar syrup)
50ml Whole Milk
2 drops Vanilla extract
A squirt of cream to finish
METHOD
Warm the milk with your traditional Milk frother, or using the Milk carafe with your Bean-to-cup machine
Mix all ingredients, top with squirty cream and dust with cinnamon.
Delicious!

The Potters Cookshop VIP Event
EPE and our brand partner Delonghi hosted the Potters Cookshop VIP event last night. 25 VIP guests spent the evening getting into the festive spirit, enjoying coffee cocktails and deserts including Black Russians, Baileys vanilla silk and Affagato which were created using the Delonghi Prima Donna Elite.
Potters presented some fantastic Christmas creations and also launched their sensational and autumnal window featuring the Delonghi Prima Donna Elite, as seen below.
Potter’s have recently been awarded the GIA UK winner which means they are travelling to chicago next March to represent the UK for the best shop!
Overall EPE are proud to have supported this event.

EPE Donate £150 To The Bradford Nightstop
EPE recently enjoyed a day out at Chester Races and it was decided that the winnings from the day would be donated to help others less fortunate than ourselves, Bradford Nightstop was the chosen charity on this occasion. For 25 years Bradford Nightstop has been offering free emergency accomodation to homeless young people aged 16 to 25 in the homes of trained volunteers. Homeless people are prevented from rough sleeping until their longer term solution is resolved. One night at a time, they are offered a place of safety with a room of their own, transport, meals, basic essential supplies, washing facilities and support to their next step.
