Small appliance distributor EPE Group has reported that its recent appearance at the Autumn Fair reaped rewards, after it increased its investment at the NEC-based show, exhibiting in two halls for the first time.
The Bradford-based supplier of branded premium small domestic appliances and floorcare was present in Hall 1, the volume gift and home hall, and Hall 3, the table and kitchen hall.
Brands featured on the two stands included Bissell, Blendtec, Braun, Bosch, Daewoo, De’Longhi, Kärcher, Kenwood, Philips, Russell Hobbs, Tefal and Zanussi.
Demonstrators were on hand to show visitors products from Blendtec, Bosch, Kärcher, Philips and Zanussi.
Harry Singh, EPE Group’s investment and marketing director, said the company exhibited at the event to increase awareness of its expanded portfolio. “Our stand was busy throughout the show and we were encouraged to meet new customers as well as long established customers,” he added.
In other news released today, EPE said it has been appointed to distribute products from Remington, moving the business into the personal care market.
“The Remington brand very well known and is a good addition to our product portfolio,” said Singh.
Noel Pamment, EPE managing director, added that the personal care market in the UK is showing strong growth.
Remington, which is owned by Spectrum Brands, has a wide product range in shaving, grooming and haircare, including hair dryers, flat irons/straighteners, rotary and foil electric shavers, personal groomers, moustache & beard groomers and haircutting kits.
